MAC Red and Purple Lip Swatches

After my nudes, I do love a red lip. I just think once you have found the correct shade of red you literally have all you need to complete a night out. It simply completes and add sophistication to any outfit and with the versatility in shades it can be worn day to night. Over the years I have definitely had my far share of hits and misses when it comes to make up mainly lipsticks. Finding exactly what shades suit my skin tone and style has been a long and hard process but now I can look at my lipstick collection and know that I suit them all. This is my final post in relation to the MAC collection and honestly I think its my favourite.

MAC Pink and Orange Lip Swatches

Following on from my previous post this is my second instalment of my lipsticks. This time it is concentrating on pink and orange shades. Like I said last time my absolute all time favourite lip shade would be a nude. I just think it is perfect from day to night. When it comes to pinks and oranges I do tend to stay away. This is mainly due to being so pale (MAC NC15) I just think that they wash me out but these are the ones currently in my collection. All lip swatches are taken with MAC Subculture Lip Pencil underneath.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Pallete Review

Can I just start by staying how stunning this palette is? I mean look at it. I absolutely adore the marble effect that they have gone for with this palette, it just looks incredible. Having tried and owned a few Hourglass products in the pass my boyfriend kindly surprised me with this palette as part of my Christmas present and I am so glad he did. I have always been highly impressed by the quality of Hourglass products and this does not disappoint either.

MAC Nude Lipstick Collection

For as long as I can remember my favourite lip shade is nude. I just love it, it goes with absolutely everything. Therefore it seemed fitting to me that my first blog post would be about my favourite MAC nude lipsticks. When I first really started to get into make up and beauty I was 16 years old and had just got my first job working in Manchester City Centre which anyone will tell you money wise is dangerous. I was addicted to spending my dinner hour shopping and seeing everything what was new in and obviously I very quickly turned to MAC. Now as I have gotten older my taste and style has changed dramatically and my MAC lipsticks took a back seat for a while. I was going through my make up collection the other day and fell back in love (especially with one in particular.) All swatches shown are with MAC Naked Lip Liner underneath.
